School Details

School Details

• Name - The name of your school. When registering your version of TS School, this exact name must be used, since the access code will be based on it. If you wish to change the school name, then you will have to re-register in order to get the access code pertaining to your new school name.

• Street Address - The school's physical street address.

• Postal Address - The school's postal address. If the postal address is the same as the street address then click the Same as Street button.

Departments

Use this screen to set up the various school departments (academic, sporting and other). Details:

• Name - The name of the department (eg Science Department)
• Desc - The description of the department (eg Science department)
• Head of Department - You have the opportunity to select a head for the department. Only staff members of the type Department Head appear in the drop-down for selection.
  

Subjects belong to departments.

Schoolhouses

Set up the school's houses for sporting, academic, and statistical purposes. Learners and staff need to be assigned to these schoolhouses.

Details:

• Name - The name of the schoolhouse
• Desc - The description of the schoolhouse
• Flag / Emblem - Select the schoolhouses flag or emblem.

Venues

Set up the school's various venues (on the school grounds and externally that the school may use from time to time).

Details:

• Name - The name of the venue (eg C101)

• Desc - The description of the venue (eg Classroom 101)

• Type - Select the type of venue. TS School ships with the following types, but you can add your own:

• Across - The number of seating positions across the venue
• Down - The number of aisles

School Terms

Set up school terms.

Details:

• Name - The name of the term
• Desc - The description of the term
• From - The starting date of the term
• To - The ending date of the term

• Name - The name of the department
• Description - The description of the department
• HOD - The title, surname, first name and employee number of the head of department (HOD)

Shows only basic details of all school departments.

Details:

• Name - The name of the department
• Description - The description of the department
