Introduction

The Safety Module caters for the safety and security needs of both learners and staff. Lockers can be entered into the system and assigned to learners and staff. Learner and staff I.D. cards can also be produced.

Setup Lockers

Locker Type

Lockers can be of the following types:

• Classroom
• Sports
• Athletics
• Gymnastics
• Swimming
  

Details:

• Number - The locker number
• Description - The description of the locker
• Type - The type of locker (see above)
• Combination - The combination to the locker, if applicable
• Condition - The condition the locker is in. If nothing is entered for the condition, then the condition is deemed suitable.

Assign Lockers

You can assign lockers to both learners and staff. Select the type of locker you wish to assign. Eg, if you are busy assigning only classroom lockers to a form class then select Classroom to view only classroom lockers. More than one locker can be assigned to any person. This is especially the case if the person has both class and sports lockers. To unassign lockers, simply drag and drop the lockers from the person back onto the list of available lockers.

Shown:

• Name - If a learner, the surname, first name and student number. If a member of staff, the title, surname, first name and employee number.

• Locker - The locker(s) assigned to the person.

ID Cards

Both learner and staff identifcation cards can be printed out.

The reports of the Safety Module are as follows:

• Combination - The combination to the locker, if applicable
• Condition - The condition the locker is in.

• Staff ID Card - Staff identification card.
