Library Members

Your library must of course have library members. Members come from two sources:

  • Internally - from within the school. You can simply obtain the staff, learner, guardian, guardian spouse or financier details with the click of a button.
  • Externally - from the public in general. This is rare for a school, although TS School does cater for this. Eg. A staff member's spouse or brother might be made a library member.

Details:

  • Surname, first name and second name
  • ID number
  • Membership #
  • Suspended - indicated whether or not the library member is suspended from taking out any more media items.
  • Street and postal address
  • Tel, fax, mobile
  • Email
Message module notifications can be sent to the library member's mobile phone or email address (eg for overdue media items or outstanding fines payable).
