General
General information about the learner’s stay at the school is as follows:

- I.Q. - This shows the learner’s I.Q. at the school. This of course helps us establish just how bright the learner registered at least at some point along their schooling path.
- Merits - This tallies the total number of merits received from the school. This shows how good a learner was at the various schools and whether or not the learner’s good deeds are increasing or decreasing.
- Demerits - This tallies the total number of demerits received from the school. This shows how bad a learner was at the various schools and whether or not a learner is improving or simply deteriorating.

- Talent – The level of talent as a percentage (e.g. 80)
|
- Chart -
This shows the aptitudes in chart form. This is very useful for analytical purposes where one can clearly see those areas of talent. This helps your school determine which subjects and even sports (like chess for example) a learner should take and which subjects/sports require special attention.
Previous Misdemeanors
Typically only serious misdemeanors, such as those that resulted in suspensions or expulsions are recorded here (i.e. are actually of interest to your school).
The offences committed by learners at previous schools consist of the following elements:
- Date – The date of the offence
- Offence – A brief description of the offence (e.g. Assaulted a fellow learner)
- Reported By – The name of the person that reported the offence (e.g. Prefect Terry Williams)
- Action Taken – The punishment for the offence (e.g. 1 days suspension)
Staff Experience
Staff Experience, as its name implies, is the section of the Experience Module that caters for the previous work experiences of staff members pertaining to schools and other institutions. The overall details are embedded in the Staff screen (see the Staff Manual for details), and are as follows:
- The School / Institution
- General
- Previous Subjects
- Previous Sports
- Previous Awards
- Previous Misdemeanors
The School / Institution
The following information is held:
- School / Institution – The name of the school (e.g. XYZ Elementary)
- From Date – The date the staff member joined the school
- To Date – The date the staff member left the school
General
General information about the staff member’s stay at the school is as follows:
- Profile / Comments -
This holds the staff member’s overall personality profile along with any comments on good or problem areas whilst at the previous school. This is useful for establishing how a staff member’s personality profile has changed from school to school.
Previous Subjects
The section has the following:
- Subjects -
This section holds the subjects taught by a staff member at a previous school. Shown are the following:
- Date Range – The starting and ending dates of when a staff member taught the subject at the previous school. These dates thus represent a period or range of when the subject was taught. If the subject was taught on and off, then an entry needs to be added for each time. For example, if SGL Science, Grade 8, Advanced Level was taught in 1995, and then again in 1998 through to August 2003, then two entries for that SGL need to be added: 1995/01/01 – 1995/12/31, 1998/01/01 – 2003/08/31
- Subject – The name of the subject (e.g. Science)
- Grade – The grade of the subject (e.g. Grade 8)
- Level – The level the subject was taught on (e.g. Advanced Level)
- Competency – How competent the staff member was as per performance appraisals.
|
- Chart -
This shows subject-teaching competency in chart form. This is very useful for analytical purposes where one can clearly see what subjects a staff member is good at teaching as well as those subjects that need more work (training).
Previous Sports
The section has the following:
- Sports -
This section holds the sports coached by a staff member at a previous school. Shown are the following:
- Date Range – The starting and ending dates of when a staff member taught the sport at the previous school. These dates thus represent a period or range of when the sport was coached. If the sport was coached on and off, then an entry needs to be added for each time. For example, if sport Soccer – Boys Under 14B was coached in 1995, and then again in 1998 through to August 2003, then two entries for that sport are needed: 1995/01/01 – 1995/12/31, 1998/01/01 – 2003/08/31
- Sport – The name of the sport (e.g. Soccer)
- Age Group – The age group of the sport (e.g. Under 14)
- Level – The level the sport was taken on (e.g. B). The level is needed here so that the nature of the coach can be more accurately assessed. A B-Team coach might, for example, be more patient and understanding and more fun than an A-Team coach (who would obviously be under more pressure to produce results).
- Competency – How competent the staff member was as per performance appraisals. This figure is very important since it can give an initial rough estimate as to who should be coaching what sport and which team.
- Sex – The gender of the team coached (e.g. Male). This is also important, since a particular coach might only have experience coach boys, for example, may for whatever reason perform differently when instructing girls.
|
- Chart -
This shows the sports in chart form. This is very useful for analytical purposes where one can clearly see what sports a staff member is best and weakest in. This helps your school determining which sports a staff member should coach and which sports perhaps require more coach training.
Previous Awards
These are the awards given to the staff member from the previous school. The following information is needed:
- Award – the name of the award (e.g. Staff of the Year).

Typically only serious misdemeanors, such as those that resulted in suspensions are recorded here (i.e. are actually of interest to your school). The offences committed by learners at previous schools consist of the following elements:
- Date – The date of the offence
- Offence – A brief description of the offence (e.g. Assaulted a fellow staff member)
- Reported By – The name of the person that reported the offence (e.g. Mrs. Sally Smith)
- Action Taken – The punishment for the offence (e.g. 1 weeks suspension without pay)
