Introduction

The Competition Module sets up the system to allow for competition between learners and other schools. This entails setting up the various levels of competition used for sports, athletics, gymnastics, and swimming teams.

Competition Levels

Since the various types of teams (sporting, athletics, gymnastics and swimming) sometimes need to have levels associated with them, these levels first need to be set up in the competitions module. Examples of such levels are as follows:

  • A
  • B
  • C
  • 1st Team
  • 2nd team
  • School 1st team
  • School 2nd team

Competition levels are used in the following modules:

  • Sports
  • Athletics
  • Gymnastics
  • Swimming

 

Reports

The reports of the Competition Module are:

Competition Levels

Shows all levels on a which the school can compete.

Details:

  • Name - The name of the level of competition (eg: A)
  • Description - The description of the competition level (eg: A team)

 

Statistics

The statistics of the Competition Module are:

  • House Learner
  • House Staff

 

House Learner

Shows how many learners are members of each schoolhouse. This is useful in ensuring that there is a good spread of schoolhouse learner membership.

Axes:

  • Houses - Lists all the schoolhouses.
  • No. of Learners - The total number of learners in each house.

 

House Staff

Shows how many staff are members of each schoolhouse. This is useful in ensuring that there is a good spread of schoolhouse staff membership.

Axes:

  • Houses - Lists all the schoolhouses.
  • No. of Staff - The total number of staff in each house.
